The Role & Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer, you will join a dynamic engineering team within a leading pharmaceutical company. You will be responsible for managing the revamping and implementation of packaging systems and related infrastructure. Your mission is to optimize equipment and processes through the coordination of technical projects involving machinery, installations, and buildings.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the study, coordination, and execution of technical projects (new installations or major transformations)
• Drafting and managing User Requirement Specifications (URS) and Change Controls (CC)
• Participating in qualification activities: FAT/SAT, DQ, IQ, OQ, commissioning, and PQ
• Reviewing validation protocols and reports (VPE) for equipment and systems
• Building and maintaining the Technical File and project documentation
• Managing project-related plans and ensuring compliance with internal SOPs
• Supporting training activities for personnel following project implementation
• Providing regular updates and improvement suggestions to the Engineering Manager
• Assisting the Maintenance department with technical support and procedure development
• Organizing internal and external project implementation and procurement processes.

Skills & Qualifications

• You hold a degree in Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a pharmaceutical environment
• You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role (pharma experience not required for IT profiles)
• You are fluent in French and English; knowledge of Dutch or German is a plus
• You are proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD
• You have solid knowledge of EU cGMP, 21 CFR, and PED directives
• You are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure
• You have excellent communication and presentation skills
• You are a self-starter who thrives in cross-functional and multicultural teams.

The Recruitment Process
