Founding Full-Stack Engineer

Join a seasoned founding team on a mission to automate inbound sales and service appointments with natural, human-like AI calls. As one of our very first hires, you’ll help shape both the product and the company.

We are based in Ghent and have deep ties into its startup ecosystem.

As our first full-stack engineer, you’ll own end-to-end web experiences at Ringtime. From internal configuration & ops tools to polished, customer-facing products. You’ll turn rough requirements into flows, wireframes, and production-ready UIs, and shape our web stack and standards.

You can expect a range of challenges such as:

• Frontend leadership: React + TypeScript; choosing our framework (we’re leaning simple/fast, e.g., Remix) and establishing architecture, testing, and accessibility.
• End-to-end ownership: shaping features from requirements to initial design, without needing a dedicated designer, and carrying them through to production.
• Internal & external apps: configuration consoles, analytics/QA tools for live calls, and customer-facing portals that feel fast and trustworthy.
• Full-stack contributions: while the frontend is your main playground, you’ll also contribute on the backend to bring features to life and ensure smooth integrations with our systems.
• Team growth: helping set the standard for our web engineering practices and contributing to a culture of simplicity, clarity, and knowledge sharing.

Over time you’ll also help us grow our team by identifying & recruiting more staff/principal engineers as well as help create a a culture of knowledge sharing.

Our goal is to build a small but highly talented & experienced team to keep overhead to a minimum.

Hard skills you bring:

• Expert in React + TypeScript and modern web technologies, with 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• An eye for design and UX—you’re able to translate requirements into intuitive user flows and polished interfaces without needing a dedicated designer.
• Good backend skills (APIs, databases, integrations) and the ability to bring features from end to end, even if frontend is your main strength. Our backend is in Python (FastAPI).
• Strong grounding in software engineering fundamentals—testing, version control, CI/CD, and scalable architecture.
