Job Title: Senior Data Functional Analyst

Location: Brussels

Hybrid: Yes (2 - 3 days/week onsite)

Type of Contract: Permanent Contract preferably

Mandatory Languages: Fluent in French AND Dutch (C1 minimum) and Good Knowledge in English

Eligibility: Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium

About the Role

The Data Office is the cornerstone of all data-related activities, ensuring ethical, efficient, and compliant management of data to support strategic decision-making. You will join a multidisciplinary agile team of experts working with modern technologies such as SQL Server, Azure, PowerBI, Databricks, SAS, and more.

Requirements

• Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in data functional analysis.
• Strong experience in data modeling (conceptual & logical, preferably Kimball).
• Experience designing/analyzing data flows; data engineering background is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in Dutch and French, good knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business needs into data and technical requirements.
• Analyze business processes and data flows (incoming/outgoing).
• Design data models and architectures with Data Architects.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and security standards.
• Deliver documentation (Business Requirements, Functional & Technical Analysis, Test Plans).
• Test, validate, and continuously improve data solutions.
• Train and support end users.
