As a Project Controls Engineer, you will be integral to the planning, scheduling, cost control, and reporting processes of construction projects.
Collaborating closely with the project management team, you will ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including critical path analysis and resource allocation.
- Oversee project cost management, including budget forecasting, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and devise strategies to minimize project risks.
- Formulate and enforce project controls policies and procedures to optimize project efficiency.
- Work with the project management team to ensure accurate project cost forecasting and budget compliance.
- Generate comprehensive project controls reports, such as progress updates, cost-to-complete analyses, and earned value assessments.
- Provide project controls training and support to project team members and stakeholders.
- Lead project status meetings, offering insights into project controls statuses and projections.
- Manage document control systems and maintain the project's master document register.
- Ensure adherence to project controls standards and industry best practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with key project stakeholders, including contractors and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in project controls within the construction industry.
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
