Lead Mechanical Engineer - Renewables

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry to join our client’s team in Anvers, Belgium(Hybrid). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in skid design, engineering, and execution, with exposure to gas, toxic, and explosive products.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Engineer for executing multiple medium size projects.
• The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for design, basic and detailed engineering of the mechanical skids and other mechanical solutions. Project specific as well as support for standardization process.
• Supporting the development of FDS.
• Monitoring and supervising sub suppliers, performing test, FAT, commissioning and start up.
• Ensure compliances to applicable codes and standards and adherence to QMS. High focus on ON time delivery, first time right and customer satisfaction.
• Support/execute Commissioning & start up.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus).
• Strong background in mechanical design of skids (not piping).
• Experience in engineering and execution of oil & gas projects.
• Prior exposure to gas, toxic, or explosive products handling.
• Knowledge of gas metering systems.
• Experience with biomethane projects is an advantage
