Our corporate research center is based in Belgium, next to that we run 5 other R&D satellites worldwide.

Currently we are looking for an AI and Machine Learning Expert in Lummen (Belgium)

In this role you will be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing AI-driven solutions that accelerate processes, remove bottlenecks and enhance decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Translates business needs into practical AI solutions, ranging from process automation to data-driven reporting and predictive analytics.
• Leads projects from concept to deployment, ensuring sustainable adoption of AI tools and workflows.
• Acts as an internal expert and enabler, supporting colleagues in understanding and leveraging AI.
• Develop and implement AI-driven process automation solutions to eliminate inefficiencies and integrate machine learning and AI into business workflows;
• Collect, clean and prepare data from various systems (ERP, CRM, IoT, APIs, spreadsheets).
• Build dashboards, reports and visualizations to support management decisions
• Design, train and deploy Machine learning and AI models that address business challenges;
• Work with (internal) stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Your profile:

Qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor or Master degree Information Technology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
• Knowledge of automation tools, AI / Machine learning frameworks, Python and data.
• Perfect Dutch and English language skills.

Experience:

• 3+ years in AI/ML engineering, data science or automation engineering.
• Proven track record of delivering hands-on AI solutions in production.
• Experience working across multiple business domains is an advantage.
• Background in manufacturing, automotive or supply chain industries is a plus.
