About the Job
As System Integrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems within our cutting-edge transmissions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage interfaces, align system requirements, and validate functionality from concept through production.
You will report to the system engineering leader and project responsible in a matrix organization.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the integration of subsystems (mechanical, electronic, and software) into complete transmission solutions for different development and production phases.
- Ensure compatibility of subsystems in system configurations and product lifecycle.
- Define and manage system-level requirements and interface specifications.
- Define high level technical overview of each transmission configuration and subsystem maturity.
- Lead integration planning, timelines, and risk assessments and ensure alignment with testing departments for integration planning.
- Support prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with design, testing, and manufacturing teams to resolve integration challenges.
- Document and communicate integration status, issues, and resolutions.
- Release (internal and external) technical product documentation linked to a transmission configuration (system parameters, customer documentation, CTF list, …)
Qualifications
- Master degree in Engineering or equivalent by experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in System integration within automotive industry
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electronics and software
- Knowledge of system engineering tools (requirement management tool)
- Good level of English
- Team player, pro-active and result-driven
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach
- Customer oriented mindset
