About this Role

We’re hiring a Technical Production Supervisor to lead operations at our innovative Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB) recycling facility. This role is critical to deliver high-quality, sustainable materials to our customers—safely, on time, and with zero compromises on quality.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

As the Technical Production Supervisor, you will:

• Lead daily operations from the production floor (80% floor presence expected)
• Maintain and execute daily production schedules across all shifts
• Ensure proper staffing, shift coverage, and employee training
• Foster a safety-first culture and uphold high quality standards
• Respond to production disruptions and escalating downtime events immediately
• Develop SOPs, training materials, and team leadership capacity
• Utilize root cause analysis tools to resolve reoccurring issues
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Supply Chain, HR, and upper management
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with safety and HR policies
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics and material handling
• Support and participate in GEMBA walks and process audits
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and manage MRO item availability
• Be available for occasional weekend support
• Travel up to 10–15% for training or cross-site coordination

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments
• Bachelors degree in mechatronics (or related field) (REQUIRED)
• Proven leadership skills in a high-paced industrial setting
• Action-oriented, hands-on, and self-directed with excellent follow-through
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of 6S, KPIs, and lean manufacturing principles preferred
