Health Safety Environment Advisor

g2 are currently looking for a HSE Advisor with good environmental knowledge to join them on a permanent basis, based near to Liege (20 km South of Liege).

The role would require a HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) Advisor to join them in them on an operational manufacturing plant. They would also consider profiles with either an environmental or health & safety bias.

The client is ideally looking for a HSE – EHS Advisor who would join them with the aim to become the HSE Manager within the next 2-3 years.

START: October, November or December 2025 (January start considered)

SALARY: €60,000 - €75,000 per annum + package (23 days holiday + 6 days, pension, bonus)

LOCATION: Liege Region, Belgium (Walloon) – 20km South of Liege

Specification:

- HSE/HSSE/SHEQ/EHS technical background with relevant certification

- PA3, PA2, MVK, NEBOSH or similar certification

- Ideally experience working on operational process plants – chemical, energy, manufacturing

- Knowledge of safety HSE/QMS management systems

- Clear understanding of behaviour-based safety management

- Excellent English language skills (corporate communication and reporting)

- French language skills (communication on the plant)

The client is a manufacturing plant operator, and they are working on the operational safety, maintenance and the management of their HSE/HSEQ systems. This is a major international client, so you will be managing safety onsite, dealing with local teams, but delivering international safety procedures.

The client has the opportunity for the successful HSE Advisor to join them in Q4 2025, they would be happy for the successful candidate to mobilise at your earliest convenience.

The role requires a strong HSE Advisor or Environmental Advisor who is confident in advising operational, maintenance and site based staff on health, safety and environmental issues.
