Description

  • You standardize production processes wherever feasible and oversee the transfer of activities to the Reporting Factory when appropriate. You monitor and supervise the standard report production executed by the Reporting Factory in Asia, tracking the production schedule, ensuring adherence to the control framework, and serving as the internal contact for these reports;
  • In instances where production is not standardized, you consistently assess the performance of portfolios linked to assigned investment centers;
  • You identify performance discrepancies among similar portfolios;
  • You generate performance attribution reports detailing the effects of all decisions made by the investment centers on the portfolios;
  • You calculate specific characteristics for intricate portfolios, such as portfolio credit spread, duration, and exposure;
  • You conduct value-added analyses related to investment processes by linking risk areas with outperforming sectors;
  • You act as a resource for general queries surrounding attribution that fall within your expertise;
  • You collaborate with the Data Services team, the Reporting@Scale team, and the Reporting Delivery, Evolution & Process team to establish new reports and processes while optimizing existing ones;
  • Occasionally, you may be asked to support reporting projects led by the Reporting teams;
  • You ensure the timely production of performance attributions;
  • You monitor and oversee daily performance attribution tasks carried out by the Reporting Factory, contributing positively to key performance indicators (KPI);
  • You coordinate with various reporting teams and other stakeholders to implement new attributions or enhancements while optimizing existing reports and processes;
  • You apply the defined control framework to ensure the generation of high-quality reports;
  • You resolve issues and provide support to the Reporting Factory as they handle challenges;
  • You actively contribute to resolving outstanding issues within the entity or with other entities, ensuring that daily operations are not impeded by unresolved problems, escalating critical issues to the team leader as necessary;
  • You take a proactive approach to long-term problem-solving;
  • You implement issue logging for further analysis and collaborative action with the data team;
  • You communicate ongoing issues that impact operational efficiency and risk levels to your team leader.


Your profile

  • A university degree in finance, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience in the financial sector;
  • Prior experience in reporting or operational roles is advantageous;
  • Proficient in written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages, particularly French or Dutch, is desirable;
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments and the processes involved in the transaction of these financial products;
  • Familiarity with fundamental IT tools and specialized applications utilized in day-to-day operations;
  • Knowledge of programming languages is an added benefit;
  • Exhibits a high degree of emotional intelligence, recognizing personal emotions, strengths, and weaknesses, and understanding their effect on performance and others;
  • Capable of addressing challenges with sound decision-making, effective problem-solving, and constructive conflict resolution skills;
