HARDWARE TECHNICIAN - LEUVEN (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITION

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a motivated Hardware Technician to support our electronics production team. In this hands-on role, you will help assemble, test, and maintain electronic hardware, ensuring products are delivered to high-quality standards.

You will work on prototype builds, small series production, and full-scale manufacturing, collaborating with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with electronics directly, following procedures, and contributing to innovative products in Belgium’s electronics sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and solder electronic components according to instructions and schematics.
• Perform functional and quality checks on PCBs, modules, and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware during production.
• Support engineers with prototype builds and small-batch manufacturing.
• Keep records of testing, assembly, and production activities.
• Follow safety, quality, and regulatory procedures.

Requirements / Skills

• Secondary education diploma or equivalent.
• Ideally already some experience in a similar position.
• Physically able to lift up to 20 kg.
• Adequate written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Interest or affinity for electrical/electronic work.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Able to prioritize tasks and follow specific procedures.
