About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IFS Finance Consultant to support a mid-to-large organization in Belgium in improving and optimizing their finance operations. The organization is currently facing challenges with basic finance processes and is looking for an expert who can combine finance knowledge with IFS system expertise to drive efficiency and ensure accurate reporting.

In this role, you will work closely with the IFS Programme Manager, providing hands-on guidance, system configuration, and support for finance process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and improve finance processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy in day-to-day operations.
• Provide functional expertise in IFS Applications 10 or IFS Cloud
• Collaborate with finance teams to resolve operational issues and implement process improvements.
• Support ERP initiatives by preparing documentation, training materials, and reports for stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for finance-related queries within the IFS system.
• Contribute to change management and adoption of IFS solutions across finance teams.

Requirements

• Experience with IFS Applications 10 or IFS Cloud (essential).
• Strong finance background with knowledge of AP/AR, general ledger, and controlling.
• Fluent in English and minimum B1 Dutch.
• Based in Belgium and comfortable with hybrid working (office + remote).
• Experience in process improvement, reporting, or finance transformation projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively and report to the IFS Programme Manager.
