📢 Contract Opportunity – Insurance Accountant (Brussels, Hybrid)

⏳ Start ASAP | 📍 Brussels | 📅 Until 31 March 2026 | 3 days/week onsite (Mon–Wed)

We’re looking for an experienced Insurance Accountant (Contract) to support our Brussels office on a long-term assignment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Handling closing tasks (Q3 & Q4) and supporting annual reporting across 8 entities.
• Ensuring clear documentation of all accounting processes (in English).
• Structuring and maintaining the SharePoint architecture.
• Strengthening and documenting the internal controls framework.
• Refining and benchmarking RSR/SFCR reporting & governance (2025 documents).
• Formalizing governance rules for RSR/SFCR production and approval.

Your profile:

• 5+ years’ experience in insurance accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 17/9, BE GAAP, Dutch GAAP, Solvency II reporting.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (French is a plus).
• Detail-oriented and structured, with a proactive mindset.
