Freelance Digital IC Designer

Are you a motivated Digital IC Design & Verification Engineer ready to make an impact?

Our client is looking for an experienced Digital IC Engineer with experience in Digital IC Verification as well.

About the role:

Type: Freelance

Location: Leuven, Belgium

Workmode: Onsite (4-5 days per week)

Duration: 9 months

Language: English

Start date: Immediate start

Tech Stack:

• Good experience in design of digital blocks and IC’s
• Knowledge of low power design techniques
• Proven track record in delivering working silicon for high volume products

Responsibilities:

As a digital designer:

• Own the block from design specification to production, including support of the verification and validation teams to ensure that performance is met
• Minimize silicon area while reaching performance and power targets
• Interface to physical design, analog and firmware teams to provide support and guidance on the use of the digital block

As a verification engineer:

• Own the verification of a block, some subsystem part or some top-level functions
• Detail the verification specification of the assigned testcases
• Implement the testcases using System Verilog, Python, assertions, …
• Maximize the verification coverage of the design while focusing on execution time
