Security Engineer

SailPoint Engineer – 1+ year contract

Location: Hybrid (8 days/month in Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, or London)

Contract: 1 year (extendable)

Start: ASAP

We’re seeking an experienced SailPoint Engineer to strengthen the Identity & Access Management function of a global financial services organisation. This role will play a key part in ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient access across complex IT environments.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage and support the daily operations of the SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) platform.
• Serve as a key escalation point for technical issues within the IAM environment.
• Develop and maintain documentation, workflows, and system architecture.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement security enhancements.
• Ensure performance and reliability across servers, databases, and integrated systems.
• Apply patches, address vulnerabilities, and manage system upgrades.
• Collaborate closely with security, compliance, and IT operations teams to meet business and regulatory requirements.
• May participate in occasional out-of-hours support as the role evolves.

What we’re looking for:

• Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ, including integrations with critical business applications.
• 3–5 years of IAM engineering experience, with strong knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP.
• Familiarity with both Windows and Linux environments.
• Scripting skills (PowerShell or equivalent) are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
• Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Splunk, and Microsoft Teams.
