Electronic Engineer – Medical Devices


Our Client Man & Science is a pioneering start-up specializing in the development of neuromodulation medical devices designed to alleviate severe headaches. They are committed to improving the quality of life for patients through innovative, high-quality solutions.


As a growing company, they are seeking a dedicated Electronic Engineer.


Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of electronic circuits and embedded software under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Assist in the design, coding, and debugging of embedded software (C/C++) for medical device applications.
  • Support schematic capture, PCB layout reviews, and hardware bring-up activities.
  • Prepare protocols, execute, and document tests on electronic boards, embedded systems, and software applications.
  • Operate laboratory test equipment (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer) to perform measurements, debug designs, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Design, set up, and improve test benches (manual and automated) to support both development and verification.
  • Support test automation tasks (e.g., Python scripting, CI integration).
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, mechanical, and quality teams to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory standards (IEC 60601, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971).
  • Prepare clear technical documentation, including test reports, design notes, and design history file contributions.
  • Contribute to the management and operation of the internal test laboratory.
  • Provide occasional support to the Logistics / Supply Chain Coordinator (e.g., handling incoming/outgoing test samples, managing stock of test components, preparing shipments).


Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Solid foundation in electronics and embedded programming (C/C++, Python or similar).
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers, digital/analog circuits, and debugging tools.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills in English (French is a plus).
  • Interest in regulated product development (ISO 13485, IEC 60601, IEC 62304, ISO 14971).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and ability to work proactively.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the flexibility to contribute across multiple disciplines.
