Senior Devops Engineer

DevOps Engineer / Brussels / Permanent

Our client, a global leader in the logistics sector, is expanding its DevOps capabilities in Brussels.

They're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong development mindset and a passion for automation and modern infrastructure practices.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and technically capable team of 4 (soon to be 6), contributing to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of their DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred).
• Lead initiatives around test automation and deployment workflows.
• Work closely with developers to streamline build and release processes.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Act as a technical point of contact for DevOps best practices within the team.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5–10 years of experience in a DevOps or software engineering role (flexible for the right fit).
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitLab.
• Skilled in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Comfortable working in Java-based environments (nice to have; not mandatory).
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively.
• Experience with Azure is a plus, but not a strict requirement.
