Business Development Manager (Semiconductors)

European Tech Recruit are working closely with a leading technology company, based in Leuven, who are looking for a talented Business Development Manager with a background in Semiconductors to join their team.

In this role you will play a key role in driving business growth through strategic investments, acquisitions, and partnerships within the semiconductor industry. Your work will directly influence their strategic direction and expand their presence in the semiconductor design, manufacturing, and process fields.

Responsibilities as Business Development Manager:

• Identify and Evaluate Opportunities: Find and assess potential investment, acquisition, and strategic partnership opportunities in the semiconductor design, manufacturing, and process sectors. You will conduct due diligence, analyze business logic, and propose new projects to the leadership team.
• Drive Business Strategy: Lead the development and execution of business strategies, including negotiating agreements and structuring transactions. You will manage projects from initial concept through to post-investment integration, ensuring that business objectives are met.
• Build and Maintain an Ecosystem: Cultivate a strong network of internal and external partners, including consulting agencies, to build and maintain a robust industry ecosystem. You will establish and nurture strategic partnerships that support our long-term goals.
• Provide Strategic Insights: Analyze industry trends and market developments to provide valuable insights and support the company's overall business development strategy. Your expertise will help us predict future trends and position us for success

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a semiconductor or electronics-related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to turn insights into action.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven project management abilities.
• Proactive, responsible, and resilient under pressure.
• Fluent in English.
• Deep understanding of the semiconductor ecosystem.
