Automated Quality Assurance Specialist


Job Description

We're seeking a strategic leader to drive our testing process, focusing on automation and collaboration.

As a Testing Team Lead, you'll oversee the wellbeing, development, and internal collaboration of your team members. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the testing process, encompassing planning, design, execution, and reporting.
  • Mentorship and coaching of the team in functional, non-functional, performance, load, and security testing.
  • Estimation and planning of work for your team.
  • Growth conversations, career guidance, and contributing to salary reviews.

Your Challenges:

  • Define test (automation) collaboration within the delivery organization.
  • Ensure involvement of QA in the design phase of projects.
  • Lead test strategy towards a focus on automation and test management tooling.
  • Create transparency towards internal stakeholders on quality assurance coverage and goals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A proven track record in a similar position.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, Zephyr Scale, JMeter, and Gatlin.
  • Experience with performance, load, and security testing.
  • An ISTQB certification.
  • A solid understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
  • Practical experience with Jira.
  • A proactive and result-driven approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Prior experience in banking and an understanding of financial services, processes, and regulations.
  • A grasp of the DORA regulation.
  • Fluency in English and either Dutch or French.
