Account Manager - EU Commission


As an Account Manager at Randstad Digital, you’ll take on a challenging and dynamic role, working with talented teams to grow our engagement with European Institutions, with a focus on the European Commission.


You’ll be responsible for business development, client management, achieving growth targets, and implementing the group’s commercial strategy in IT staffing and consulting. The role also includes key administrative and reporting duties to ensure smooth operations and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Grow and manage client accounts within the EU institutions.
  • Identify opportunities, source and match candidates with client needs (with Talent Acquisition support).
  • Support staffing, recruitment, and offer preparation.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships; ensure satisfaction and compliance.
  • Prospect new business opportunities and respond to calls for tenders with delivery leaders.
  • Prepare commercial proposals and formal offers.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records (e.g., Salesforce) of sales activities and pipelines.
  • Communicate efficiently with clients, partners, and consultants.
  • Draft activity and framework contract reports.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored presentations and proposals.
  • Assist with contract and NDA preparation, review, and tracking.


Profile

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Sales, IT, or related field (Master’s a plus).
  • Solid knowledge of EU Institutions’ structure, decision-making, and procurement rules.
  • 4–5 years’ experience in account management, sales, or business development (in IT) with the EU market.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized, with strong multitasking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English; French is an asset.
