Public Affairs Specialist


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage various public affairs projects, including stakeholder management, outreach plans, and storytelling initiatives.
  • Draft stakeholder and policy briefings to support engagement and decision-making.
  • Coordinate and organize events, missions, and meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide operational support, including database management, activity reporting, monitoring, and controls.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
  • Contribute to public affairs strategies that strengthen relationships with key partners and policymakers.

Experience & Knowledge Required

  • Education: Master’s degree or equivalent through experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of proven experience in Public Affairs or related fields.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong command of MS Office, digital tools, and social media.
  • Preferable: knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Business Expertise:
  • Proven experience in project management and event management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent time management and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, open-minded, and result-driven approach with a sense of ownership.
  • Highly organized, precise, and structured, with strong attention to detail.
  • Languages: Excellent written and spoken communication in Dutch, French, and English.
