Electrical Project Engineer

About The Role

You’ll lead the transformation of a critical industrial site’s electrical systems, ensuring full compliance with AREI and IEC standards. Your expertise will directly influence safety, efficiency, and future-proofing of the infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Map all electrical circuits from transformers and distribution boards to end-users.
• Perform cable calculations and selectivity studies using CANECO.
• Correlate technical findings with high-voltage inspection results.
• Structure and complete the electrical dossier in compliance with standards.
• Provide support and guidance to the internal team.

What we're looking for

We are searching for a proactive engineer with a strong background in electromechanics or electrical engineering.

• Master degree in Electromechanics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Solid knowledge of electrical installations for both low and high voltage.
• Proven experience with CANECO and cable calculations.
• Understanding of compliance standards such as AREI or IEC.
• Analytical, structured, and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in industrial or automotive environments with a focus on compliance and safety standards.
• Native or bilingual proficiency in Dutch and fluency in English.
