About the Mission
Our client that operates ion the financial services is preparing for a
new Belgian oversight framework
targeting providers of financial messaging services. The
National Bank of Belgium (NBB)
will act as the competent authority, moving oversight from largely "soft law" to a
binding, enforceable regime
.
As part of this evolution, a
new Compliance Assurance and Reporting team
is being established. The mission's goal is to design and pilot a
clear, reusable assurance methodology
for the new Oversight Law — and later for broader compliance domains.
