Your expertise will drive the search for optimal technical solutions that meet the needs of our clients and the market, while aligning with the development and maintenance of the electrical grid.

About The Role
As an
Expert in Quality & Technical Integration
, you will explore the best technical solutions that are economically viable and in line with all relevant strategies regarding finance, environment, safety, standards, and available resources. You will closely collaborate with technical expertise and maintenance departments, always keeping safety in mind.

Key responsibilities

• Tackle complex technical questions and operational feedback related to your expertise in Substations, embedding solutions into existing or new standards.
• Draft engineering guidelines and technical specifications for contracts, leading feedback exchanges with stakeholders like Contractors, Project Leaders, and Maintenance Representatives.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to communicate technical aspects for contracts, manage contractor shortlists, and handle technical qualifications and certifications.
• Develop processes, templates, and methods for technical activities, mapping technical competencies in system integration, and preparing corresponding training plans.
• Ensure professional management of technical standards and tools necessary for project execution and that advanced engineering tools are available for infrastructure projects.

What we're looking for

We seek a profile with:

• An industrial or civil engineering degree (electricity, electromechanics, or mechanics) or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience in Substation construction, primarily in HV/MS segments.
• Native French/Dutch with a very good knowledge of the other language and proficient in English.
• Initiative, independence, strong teamwork, communication, and instructional skills.
• Interest in substation development and networks in general.
• Analytical thinking and good judgment skills.
• Assertiveness and the ability to objectively align diverse expert viewpoints.
