About the Role

We are seeking a talented
Freelance BI Engineer
to strengthen our data & analytics capabilities in Brussels. You will be responsible for building and maintaining
Business Intelligence solutions
that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. This includes developing dashboards, reports, and data models while ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain
  BI dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions
  (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to
  translate requirements into technical BI solutions
  .
• Build and optimize
  data models, queries, and ETL processes
  to support reporting needs.
• Ensure
  data accuracy, consistency, and performance
  across BI platforms.
• Integrate data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, flat files, cloud systems).
• Document BI processes, definitions, and data flows to support governance.
• Provide support and training to business users on BI tools and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a
  BI Engineer / BI Developer
  (freelance or permanent).
• Strong skills with
  BI tools
  (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar).
• Excellent knowledge of
  SQL
  and experience with
  data modeling
  .
• Experience with
  ETL processes and data warehouses
  .
• Familiarity with
  cloud BI and analytics platforms
  (Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).
• Strong understanding of
  data governance and GDPR compliance
  .
• Experience with
  DAX, MDX, or similar query languages
  is a plus.
• Mandatory languages:
  Fluent in
  French or
  Dutch
  (spoken and written). Good command of
  English
  is also required.
