JOB DESCRIPTION:

The scope of our mission is to reinforce a team as a right-hand Project Executive to coordinate all subcontracted activities for the manufacturing of a large-scale prototype built as a single unique unit.

The Key responsibilities expected from our on-site delegate might include:

Overall Project Management

• Full (subcontracted) manufacturing phase ownership with direct reporting to the Program Manager.
• Preparation and follow-up of key topics to be discussed on a daily basis.
• Single interface between suppliers, engineering office, procurement, and management.

Supplier Sourcing

• Identify suppliers capable of delivering on time and with the required quality.
• No long sourcing process or complex negotiations (non-serial context).
• Manage a single fixed budget.

Technical Interface

• Respond to suppliers' technical questions.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, understand tolerances and manufacturing processes.
• Act as liaison with the engineering office.
• Possibility to manage purchase orders directly.
• Central, highly autonomous role with limited internal support

The experience we are actively looking for:

• Mechanical engineering degree, or equivalent strong technical background.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrialization, or subcontracted production management.
• Experience with mechanical plan reading, machining, sheet metal processes
• Strong autonomy and organizational capacity; capable of handling the full scope of a project.
• Assertive and demanding toward suppliers and internal teams.
• Strong communication and synthesis skills, with capacity to report effectively at all levels.
• Bilingual French-English.

• Rigor and self-demand in supplier management.

• Entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic is a great start). - Immediate availability is preferred.
