Mechatronics Technician

In Brussels, we have our Structural and Mechatronics Engineering offices, where all our new programs begin and our workshops are equipped with modern

machines that produce complex metallic assemblies for aircraft and space launchers as well as advanced Thrust Vectoring Systems for space launchers.

Mission :
You will work within the Actuation Assembly & Test department. You will perform tests on hydraulic systems and components for space launchers to evaluate their performance, efficiency, and compliance with specifications. You will write detailed reports on test results, analyses, and recommendations for improvements.

Responsibilities :

  • You are responsible for the adjustment and testing of the hydraulic flight control system of the new A6 space launcher.
  • You set up and conduct various tests: vibration, climate, and power.
  • You manage the test benches and their operating systems.
  • You become an expert in all components.
  • You make recommendations and decisions.
  • You work closely with assembly operators.
  • You report daily to your supervisor.
  • After internal training, you will work independently on your projects.

The employee will be responsible for:

Conducting rigorous self-checks to ensure the quality and compliance of products throughout the production process.

Ensuring compliance with the quality standards EN9100 and the environmental standard ISO 14001.

Transferring skills and knowledge to new team members to foster a continuous learning and mutual support environment.

Profile :

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in electromechanics or equivalent experience.
  • You have knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic mechanical knowledge.
  • Experience with Matlab is a plus.
  • You have a keen eye for quality and detail.
  • You are safety-conscious.
  • You enjoy working in a team.
  • You have a critical mindset.
  • You are fluent in French and/or Dutch.
  • Knowledge of technical English is an asset.
