PCS7 Engineers – Belgium (Hybrid)

Location: Belgium (Hybrid – Flexible working)

Contract: Freelance / (Permanent workers can be considered)

For one of my industry leading clients I am urgently looking for PCS7 skilled Engineers for several long running projects in Belgium. This is a freelance opportunity offering flexible hybrid working, however, my client is also open to considering full time permanent members of staff!

The successful candidates will bring strong technical knowledge of PCS7 systems and proven experience in the design, configuration, implementation, and commissioning of complex automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities - (There are several positions open here! Suitable role responsibilities can be discussed based on your experience).

Ideally for all Engineer positions you will have:

• Design, configure, and implement PCS7 automation systems.
• Develop and maintain PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems within industrial environments.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the full project lifecycle, from specification to commissioning.
• Troubleshoot, optimise, and upgrade existing automation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industrial standards, safety regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with PCS7 (configuration, implementation, commissioning).
• Strong background in automation, process control, and distributed control systems (DCS).
• Solid knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and related technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently as a freelancer, while collaborating effectively with the client’s engineering team.
• Fluent in English (knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus).
