Account Executive (B2B Data Platform)


Today, small and mid-sized companies need expensive consultants or in-house data engineers to truly become data-driven. Peliqan is an all-in-one Data Platform that changes everything. We’re a fast-growing start-up on a mission to reinvent how companies work with data, with offices in Ghent, Belgium and Bengaluru, India.


For our Ghent office, we’re hiring an Account Executive to join our Sales team. Our all-in-one data platform makes it easy for businesses to centralise, analyse, and activate data, without stitching together a dozen tools. We need your help to take us to market.


This means you’ll take ownership of the full sales cycle: from prospecting and outreach to demos, negotiations, and closing. This is a very big challenge: Peliqan already has strong traction and proven ICPs across multiple segments, from accounting firms or Odoo partners to fast-growing scale-ups, PE-backed companies, and hospitality groups. Now it’s time to validate, refine, and prove that our sales motion can scale.


The ideal candidate has experience selling SaaS, located in or around Ghent, understands SQL & Python and is not afraid to join an early-stage startup with huge potential, where your impact will be immediate and visible.


Your responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to demos, negotiations, and closing.
  • Execute smart, targeted outreach using the latest tools and personalized approaches (no spray and pray).
  • Deliver impactful demos that clearly show how Peliqan helps partners and SME’s
  • Collaborate closely with founders and the team on go-to-market strategy, messaging, and experiments.
  • Learn fast and develop deep product and domain knowledge about data platforms, the modern data stack, and our ideal customer profiles.
What makes you a great candidate
  • A goal-getter who loves challenges and thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Curious and fast-learning, with a genuine interest in data, SaaS, and new technologies.
  • Experience in SaaS sales is preferred but mindset and passion is even more important.

  • Ambitious, driven by targets, and motivated by building something from the ground up.
  • Someone who takes initiative, you see opportunities and act on them.
  • Excited by the idea of joining a small, growing startup where you can make a big impact and help define how we sell.
  • Fluent in English, French and / or Dutch.
  • Ability to come to our office in Ghent on a regular basis
