Job Description
As a Site Controller, you will act as a strategic business partner to senior site leadership, driving financial performance and ensuring transparency across operations. You will play a pivotal role in financial planning, month-end reporting, and performance analysis, while supporting key projects and ensuring robust financial governance. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and directly influence decision-making at both the site and regional level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key strategic business partner to Department Heads and the Site Head, providing insight and financial transparency for effective decision-making.
- Support the EMEA Operations Head of Finance in month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial initiatives.
- Serve as the main interface to the Shared Service Center, ensuring compliance with internal controls and managing audit-related matters.
- Lead and deliver cross-functional improvement projects with measurable financial impact.
- Conduct detailed monthly operational variance analyses and proactively communicate findings and recommendations.
- Prepare and present the Monthly Reporting Pack with clear narratives and actionable insights.
- Take ownership of understanding and resolving process order, WBS Element, and Material settlement issues in SAP, ensuring follow-up on corrections.
- Provide financial mentorship and analytical support for operational and strategic projects.
- Deliver ad-hoc support to the EMEA Region and Global Operations Finance as needed.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in finance and controlling within a corporate environment.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP CO/FI, SAP Business Warehouse, SAC, and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Proven expertise in resolving process order, WBS Element, and Material settlement issues in SAP.
- Native Dutch speaker or equivalent proficiency.
- Strong business partnering skills and proven ability to build relationships across functions.
- Excellent reporting accuracy, analytical skills, and professional integrity.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities with confidence in delivering group presentations.
- Ability to interpret and explain complex financial data and projections clearly and effectively.
