At Orphamed, we’re a young, fast-growing company shaping the future of medical sales. We're currently looking for a Sales Account Manager to focus on the Irish healthcare market, with the goal of actively building our customer base from the ground up.


You’ll be based at our headquarters in Bilzen Limburg, Belgium, and will take full ownership of lead generation, outreach, relationship-building, and closing deals with hospitals and healthcare institutions across Ireland.


Your Role

As an Account Manager for the Irish market, you will:

  • Proactively research, identify, and approach new leads in the Irish healthcare sector (especially hospitals and care providers)
  • Build strong, long-term relationships through effective communication and follow-up
  • Push for growth by converting prospects into loyal customers
  • Analyze data and sales performance in Excel to optimize your strategy
  • Communicate daily via email and virtual meetings; occasional on-site visits may be required
  • Handle internal requests related to out-of-stock products and liaise with our logistics team
  • Take care of financial follow-up and account administration
  • Represent Orphamed at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events
What You Bring
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (sales, marketing, economics, IT, etc.)
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • A proactive, persuasive, and goal-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable cold-calling, emailing, and presenting to potential clients
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Motivated, resilient, and hands-on, you don’t wait for opportunities, you create them
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • No experience required – your drive to succeed is what matters most
