Senior Project Manager – ME/LIMS Implementation

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Project Manager
to lead the implementation of a
Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
and a
Labo Inspection Management System (LIMS)
in the same application. This is a contract-based role for an external resource who will be responsible for the
end-to-end delivery
of the project - ensuring it is completed
on time
,
within budget
, and meets all
quality and business objectives
.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership
  : Own the full lifecycle of the implementation, from initiation through deployment and closure.
• Stakeholder Management
  : Report regularly to internal stakeholders, including project sponsors and steering committees.
• Team Coordination
  : Manage cross-functional teams, including internal staff and external partners/vendors.
• Scope & Planning
  : Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria aligned with business needs.
• Budget & Timeline Control
  : Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Risk & Issue Management
  : Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Process & Tooling Expertise
  : Apply deep understanding of manufacturing processes and MES tooling to guide implementation decisions.
• Quality Assurance
  : Ensure deliverables meet agreed standards and comply with relevant policies and procedures.
• Communication
  : Facilitate clear and consistent communication across all project participants.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in
  leading MES/LIMS implementation projects
  in manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of
  manufacturing operations
  , workflows, and systems integration.
• Minimum
  7 years of project management experience
  , preferably in IT or industrial automation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage
  external vendors
  and
  internal teams
  effectively.
• Excellent
  leadership

  problem-solving
  skills.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or related field.
