Enterprise Architect

As stated in the Article Service requirements, a minimum educational qualification for lot 3 is: Level of education corresponding to Level 7 of the European Qualification Framework which typically corresponds to a master’s level or 5 years of higher education.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:

· Teamwork skills, including ability to work in a friendly, organised, and well-structured manner also under pressure

· Aptitude to foster positive relationships

· Excellent critical thinker, by using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions

· Very good oral and written English

· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to understand what each stakeholder wants and needs

· Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences

· Ability to understand business and user needs efficiently and navigate between them with a solution-focussed mindset

· Analysis and problem solving skills

· Ability to apply high quality standards to all tasks

· Ability to give business presentations and moderate workshops in a highly engaging manner

· Ability to work autonomously, managing his/her own workload independently, providing status updates, liaising with others and escalating issues as appropriate

Due to the particular nature of a large international organisation such as the European Commission, candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:

· Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;

· Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;

· Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;

· Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment

· High degree of discretion and integrity is required as the applications managed and maintained personal and confidential data

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE

Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:

· Excellent knowledge of enterprise architecture notations such as BPMN.

· Excellent knowledge of enterprise architecture tools such as ARIS.

· Excellent knowledge of Service Now ITSM.

· Excellen knowledge of adoption dashboards.

· At least three years of proven experience supporting Commission Service(s) as an enterprise architect.

· Knowledge of digital-ready policymaking.

CERTIFICATIONS & STANDARDS:

Following certificates & standards are required for the performance of tasks:

· Certified in PM2

· Certified in Agile @EC
