SCADA Engineer

We're looking for a Software Engineer with strong IT and engineering skills to support the design, development, and commissioning of digital grid and control system projects. You'll work on solutions that connect operational technology (OT) and IT systems to improve the efficiency, reliability, and security of modern power networks.

What you'll do

• Design and implement SCADA and control systems for high and medium-voltage networks.
• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions, covering software design, configuration, testing, and commissioning.
• Provide technical expertise in areas such as telecommunication systems, databases, and specialized IT applications.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade systems, both remotely and on-site.
• Deliver technical training and support to end users.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT industry
• Experience in IT environments and database management.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Experience with SQL & Python
• Knowledge of communication protocols (TCP/IP, Modbus, IEC 60870, IEC is a plus.
• Understanding of electrical transmission and distribution systems is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 3 times per year).
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
