Electronics Systems Architect

For our client in the defense sector, we are looking for an
Electronics Systems Architect Engineer
. The mission involves the
design, integration, and validation of complex embedded systems
. It covers areas such as
electronic control
,
video processing
,
motorization
, and
effector management
. The role also includes
defining system architectures
and
supporting testing phases
.

Your Responsibilities

Technical Management

• Support the project team in the definition and follow-up of the technical solution.
• Management of a project module: planning, reporting, bill of materials management (EBOM).
• Coordination of technical exchanges between internal teams and cross-functional departments.
• Supervision of internal and external designs.
• Management of technical relations with suppliers and partners.
• Facilitation of design reviews and interdisciplinary technical meetings.

Electronic Product Development

• Analysis of customer needs and drafting of specifications.
• Definition of the electronic architecture of the system.
• Handling functional aspects: interfaces, wiring, function allocation.
• Execution of technical studies and associated documentation.
• Adaptation of existing architectures to integrate new equipment.
• Drafting of technical specifications.
• Follow-up of prototypes and tests.

Order Follow-up and Support

• Technical support for purchasing, industrialization, and quality departments.
• Assistance to the warranty department in problem resolution.
• Preparation of technical files for subcontractors.
• Participation in meetings with suppliers and subcontractors.

Your Profile

• Engineering degree in electronics.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in electronic systems design.
• Experience in system architecture or systems engineering is an asset.
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
• Ability to manage technical projects independently (budget, deadlines, specifications).
• Practical mindset and team spirit.
• Functional leadership to coordinate technical teams.
• Willing to travel occasionally in Belgium and internationally.
