Job description

We are looking for a Consultant Project Engineer Substations to join our team in Brussels. You will contribute to the development and monitoring of electrical infrastructure projects involving high-voltage substations and lines.

As a Project Engineer, you will act as the technical key contact between the project manager and the design office. You will play a central role in the technical design, coordinating multidisciplinary expertise, and ensuring quality standards while actively contributing to the overall success of the projects.

Your missions

Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and fellow Project Engineers (technical vs. organizational focus).

Contribute to the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility study to closure.

Define the technical scope and contribute to project design.

Carry out and oversee preparatory and detailed technical studies.

Ensure the quality and consistency of all technical deliverables.

Provide technical support during execution phases.

Monitor progress, communicate, and report regularly to the Project Manager.

Support the integration of multidisciplinary domains (substations, lines, PAC systems, civil works, telecom).

Your profile

Master's degree in electrical or electromechanical engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

4–6 years of relevant technical experience in the energy sector, ideally in high voltage.

Fluent in French and Dutch; English is a strong asset.

Strong interest in the energy sector and its innovations.

Sense of responsibility and strong organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills, with natural assertiveness and client orientation.

Team player with creativity and problem-solving mindset.
