At Multronic, We Don't Just Design — We Build Certainty
We're Multronic — an innovator in emission control and energy systems for heavy-duty industries. Our technology powers cleaner engines in maritime, industrial, and off-road applications.
We're growing and looking for a Technical Designer who gets it done — someone who not only draws in SolidWorks, but understands how products get built, how production works, and, where and how the product is used — making sure it delivers maximum value to the customer.
Your Role:
You are the bridge between design and reality.
As Multronic Technical Designer, you'll:
- Design and develop 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks with a production-first mindset.
- Create complete and clear production documentation: assembly drawings and instructions, technical manuals, documentation for quality control, and visual assets for marketing use.
- Lead the creation and implementation of a digital catalogue.
- Follow up, together with R&D, on prototype builds and tests; assess results and refine designs accordingly.
- Define and maintain the full Bill of Materials (BoM) in the ERP system, ensuring it stays accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate with Purchasing to define industrial costs and drive design-to-cost optimization.
- Assess suppliers and adapt designs to improve manufacturability and cost-efficiency.
- Work closely with Production and R&D to design and implement custom tooling that enhances assembly efficiency and quality.
- Continuously improve design processes, documentation flows, and interdepartmental collaboration to increase efficiency and clarity.
- Support Operations in analyzing warehouse and production floor layouts; contribute to building plans and process flows that optimize space and logistics.
- Support continuous technological advancement of the Multronic NV.
Who You Are:
- You've strong experience as a technical designer in a production-driven environment.
- You know SolidWorks like the back of your hand — but also understand welding, machining, and how things are physically built.
- You're a hands-on problem solver who loves seeing your designs in real life.
- You're structured and detail-oriented, yet practical and adaptive when it counts.
- You speak Dutch and English fluently; French or German is a plus.
What We Offer:
- A key role in a fast-growing company shaping clean technology in Europe.
- The chance to leave your mark on designs that go into real-world, high-performance systems.
- A technically strong team that values efficiency, clarity, and problem-solving.
- Direct access to decision-makers and ownership over your work.
- A workplace where we improve together - product by product, process by process.
