Job Title: Group Quality Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a skilled
Group Quality Engineer
to provide technical and quality-related support across multiple production facilities and supplier networks. This role involves leading process and quality audits, developing and implementing group-wide standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The position also includes collaboration with R&D teams on the development and industrialization of new products.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Compliance
- Improve and align quality standards across all production plants and key suppliers.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Investigate and resolve technical production non-conformities.
- Support the implementation and development of
ISO 9001
and
EN 1090
standards. - Coordinate activities between production sites and departments such as R&D and Engineering.
- Collaborate with local QHSE Managers to enhance and harmonize quality systems.
- Validate suppliers and conduct supplier quality audits.
- Prepare for and participate in customer audits.
Documentation
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, procedures, and quality policies.
Reporting
- Prepare detailed measurement reports using conventional tools as well as 3D measuring arms and scanners.
General Support
- Travel to production plants, suppliers, and customer sites (approximately 30% travel).
- Provide technical support to purchasing and production departments.
- Contribute to quality-related continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Engineering
,
Electromechanics
, or a related field. - Minimum
5 years' experience
in a metal processing or manufacturing environment. - Strong understanding of quality management systems and production processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluent in
English AND French (Required) - Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
