Senior Portfolio- en Program Manager


We're looking for an experienced Program & Portfolio Manager to join our client's leadership team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on driving strategic transformation, leading high-impact digital programs, and fostering strong collaboration across diverse stakeholders. You'll be part of a forward-thinking organization that values innovation, structure, and long-term business impact.

Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you will oversee the delivery of complex strategic programs and product developments, ensuring they are executed on time and within scope. You'll manage the portfolio of ongoing projects and provide clear reporting to senior management. Collaboration and stakeholder management will be at the heart of your work — bridging internal teams and external partners to achieve common goals.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the successful execution of multi-million-euro transformation and digitalisation projects.
  • Structuring and managing change initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Monitoring progress, analysing risks, and ensuring programme objectives are met.
  • Coordinating effectively between business, IT, and external implementation partners.
  • Providing leadership and guidance across the entire lifecycle of complex ICT solutions.

Profile & Experience
The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong communication skills and proven experience managing large-scale programmes. You are comfortable navigating complex environments and driving collaboration between technology and business domains.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Extensive experience in senior management or executive roles (e.g., Programme Manager, Director, Chair of Steering Committees).
  • A track record of structuring and delivering major transformation programmes (minimum annual scope of €2M).
  • Demonstrated success in implementing IT solutions within large organisations.
  • Technical understanding of ICT solution lifecycles and programme governance.
  • Knowledge of Belgium's social security or public sector environment is a strong plus.
