General Accountant in Brussels


For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Accountant for the Brussels region.

  • Manage daily accounting for multiple entities, in compliance with local and group standards.
  • Ensure weekly cash reporting and payment forecasts.
  • Provide accurate monthly group reporting and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Prepare VAT declarations and statutory annual financial statements.
  • Manage master data (suppliers, customers, payment terms).
  • Handle ad hoc requests from internal teams (accounting, treasury, legal, etc.).
  • Conduct regular inventories and reconcile them with accounting records.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants for audits and tax filings.
  • Contribute to improving accounting processes and take charge of new projects.



  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • At least 3 years of experience in internal accounting or with an accounting firm.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Well-organized and able to manage monthly deadlines.
  • Highly rigorous and reliable.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
