SAP BW/BW4 Specialist - 12-month contract - Brussels

Our important client is currently looking for a SAP BW/BW4 Specialist for a 12-month contract based in Brussels. Hybrid with 2 to 3 days onsite mandatory.

As an SAP BW/BW4 Specialist within the Data & Analytics team you are responsible for analysing, developing, optimising, migrating and supporting reporting solutions for various directorates and staff services (e.g. Customer Services, Technics, HR, Finance, Strategy & Legal, Internal Audit, IT) with the main focus on the Finance and IT departments. You will take on a combined role as Application Owner, Developer, Tester and Functional Analyst.

What will you do?

• Mapping and documenting reporting and dashboard needs.
• Analyse the current (AS IS) reporting and translate it into a future-oriented solution architecture (SAP BW4, Azure Synapse/Databricks, Datasphere, Power BI).
• Actively participate in migration planning and act as SPOC between Business and IT.
• Regularly consult with stakeholders from different departments.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Developing the technical elements in SAP BW/BW4, DataSphere, BW Integrated Planning as well as at the level of SAP ECC extractors
• Setting up and supporting solutions in AFO
• Setting up and supporting solutions in PowerBI on top of SAP BW/BW4 sources
• Setting up and supporting Automations with Power Automate
• Validating reports and dashboards developed by internal or external developers.
• Document and keep all solutions up to date.
• Managing a team of developers (onshore/offshore) during migration trajectos; where necessary, you also contribute to the implementation yourself.
• Participate in the preparation and execution of test scenarios, functional tests and data cleaning.

Profil Candidat

• Diploma in Economics
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar position (SAP BW/BW4 Specialist/developer/solution designer, Application Owner, Functional Analyst).
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Relevant, demonstrable in-depth experience and expertise in and with BI and reporting tools:

• Relevant, demonstrable in-depth experience and expertise in and with SAP ECC & SAP FICO
• Language skills: smooth communication in Dutch, French and English (spoken and written).
