About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect with a strong technical background and a passion for the financial domain. The ideal candidate will have a robust engineering culture, a startup mindset, and the ability to quickly understand business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements. Proficiency in data architecture, data management, data governance, and big data architecture is essential. Additionally, a strong understanding of the regulations to which banks and insurance companies must comply is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Drive architectural decisions and best practices.

Business Translation:

• Rapidly understand business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document architectural solutions.

Data Architecture:

• Design and implement data architectures that support business objectives.
• Ensure data management and governance practices are followed.
• Develop and maintain big data architectures to handle large-scale data processing and analytics.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure that architectural solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards in the financial domain.
• Stay updated with changes in regulations and assess their impact on existing and future solutions.

Solution Delivery:

• Oversee the development and delivery of solutions, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure solutions are implemented effectively.

Innovation and Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in the financial domain.
• Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve existing systems and processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

Technical Proficiency:

• Strong background in software development and delivery.
• Experience with modern architectural patterns and practices.
• Proficiency in data architecture, data management, and data governance.
• Knowledge of big data technologies and architectures.

Financial Domain Knowledge:

• Interest and experience in the financial domain (banking, insurance, asset management).
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Engineering Culture:

• Strong engineering culture with a focus on quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education/experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in similar position (in general, more than 10 years of professional experience is required)

Certifications:

• Relevant certifications in architecture, software engineering, data management, or financial domain are a plus.
