System Engineer

• Client is looking for an experienced System Engineer SQL to join our Digital Infrastructure team. As part of our digital transformation and preparation for NIS2 compliance, we are looking for someone dedicated to migrating databases to higher SQL versions and updating SQL with the latest service packs.

What will you do?

• Migrate databases to higher versions of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Updating Microsoft SQL Server with the latest service packs.
• Collaborate and coordinate with infrastructure teams and stakeholders around the upgrades.
• Documenting technical implementations and all kinds of procedures.
• Establishing disaster recovery procedures
• Opt for backup plans.

Profile:

• At least 3 years of experience as a System Engineer.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL server.
• Drawing up and/or executing a test plan after migration.
• Kennis van Windows Server & monitoring.
• Project and planned approach.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
