Senior Test Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Test Analyst to join our client's dynamic team, playing a key role in ensuring software quality across complex IT initiatives. This position suits an experienced testing professional who enjoys translating business requirements into well-structured test strategies and collaborating with diverse teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will take ownership of the entire testing lifecycle, from defining the approach to execution and reporting. You will ensure that all testing activities align with project goals, quality standards, and delivery timelines.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Translating functional requirements into clear, structured test scenarios and test cases
• Designing a test approach in line with the overall test strategy, in collaboration with senior analysts and project stakeholders
• Executing manual and automated tests at various levels to validate software quality
• Monitoring CI/CD results and performing functional reviews to ensure full test coverage
• Identifying defects, analyzing root causes, and suggesting improvements for efficiency and quality
• Reporting test results and recommendations in a clear and structured manner
• Maintaining accurate documentation, process descriptions, and use cases

You will also act as a bridge between business teams, developers, and end users, promoting quality awareness, refining requirements through reviews, and ensuring alignment across all parties.

Profile and Skills

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with strong analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to mentor others.

Key qualifications include:

• At least 7 years of experience in a similar testing or quality assurance role
• Solid understanding of test methodologies, processes, and best practices
• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification is an advantage
• Experience with test management tools such as TestLink or Zephyr
• Proficiency with project and issue management tools such as Jira, and collaboration tools like Confluence
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Cypress or JUnit5
• Basic knowledge of Continuous Integration, TDD, UML, Java, SQL, and version control systems (Git or SVN)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent command of Dutch and French
