About the Role


We are seeking a Digital Trust Specialist to support the design and implementation of a new Attestation Management System (AMS) as part of the EU-wide eIDAS2 digital identity initiative.


This role involves working at the intersection of technology, security, and regulation, helping define how citizens' verified identity data and digital credentials will be issued, managed, and shared securely across the EU.


You'll contribute to the architecture and delivery of a large-scale digital identity and verifiable credentials platform, collaborating with senior stakeholders across multiple national entities.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Analyse, document, and define requirements for digital identity and attestation services in line with eIDAS2 standards.

  • Apply knowledge of cryptographic principles, PKI, and digital signatures to ensure secure identity verification and credential issuance.

  • Support the design and implementation of authentication and authorization flows based on OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Openid4vci.

  • Translate complex regulatory and business needs into clear functional and technical requirements for development teams.

  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection best practices throughout solution design.

  • Liaise between architects, developers, and policy experts to align regulatory, business, and technical objectives.

  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to validate identity workflows and data exchange models.

  • Produce high-quality documentation and presentations in English as needed.


Requirements:



  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IAM, digital identity, or IT business analysis within complex environments.

  • Strong understanding of digital trust services, cryptography, hashing, and electronic signature mechanisms.

  • Working knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and identity federation protocols.

  • Solid grasp of eIDAS2 regulations, implementing acts, and GDPR.

  • Experience in government, regulated sectors, or cross-border EU digital projects is highly advantageous.

  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Proactive, autonomous, and able to navigate multi-stakeholder environments.
