As an IT & Maintenance Technician at Alterface, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and long-term reliability of our interactive attractions around the world. You will be the link between our technology and our customers — providing technical support, maintaining systems, and keeping the magic of our experiences alive. This is a hands-on position combining IT expertise, field maintenance, and direct customer interaction in a dynamic international environment.
IT tasks:
- Solve technical problems and investigates elevated issues; confirm the validity of problems and seek solutions related to more complex issues.
- Execute triages and provides technical assistance in a multi-tiered platform environment. Troubleshoot a wide variety customer incident request and updates, resolve, or escalate to appropriate groups; and handle multiple incidents simultaneously.
Maintenance tasks:
- Answer daily customer calls & messages
- Assist customers to troubleshoot and fix issues happening on their attractions
- Go on site to maintain customer rides & train the customers' maintenance teams
- Prepare & follow up shipments of hardware for the customers
- Coordinate with technical team to solve issues
- Follow the repair work of the hardware sent at the office by the customers
- Keep track and document every maintenance done in data base
- Participate to the internal permanence shifts (Hotline support)
- Maintain a stock of spare parts for the customers
- Synchronize with maintenance teams in Asia and USA
- Suggest improvement on the production and training process based on data from the maintenance
- Provide specifications to technical team for maintenance tools needed for the maintenance
Technical Skills :
- Knowledge of PC imaging and Image Deployment; and installation, troubleshooting; support of specialized applications that are utilized by our company
- Knowledge of basic and complex troubleshooting for PC\MAC, Network printing devices, and Local printing devices.
- Good understanding of electrical, electronic, Audio/Video and IT
- Strong written and oral communication; interpersonal and listening skills to communicate with customers, and management alike; the ability to build relationships.
- Exceptional analytical and problem resolutions skills to include root cause analysis and corrective action
- Fluent in French and English
- Available to travel on site

Specific working conditions:
- Some maintenance may have to be done outside of the office hours because of the time difference with the customers, travels on site will be required up to there months per year (not consecutive)
- Reports daily to the Maintenance Manager and collaborates closely with the Technical team (Hardware and especially the technicians and on maintenance duty)
- Full time permanent contract
