Site Reliability Engineer

We’re hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure that our optimisation platform runs reliably, scales automatically, and deploys continuously.

You’ll own CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure-as-code.

You enable our engineering team to ship, test, and operate real-time energy services safely and efficiently.

What you will do

• Operate and evolve our cloud infrastructure (Azure-based).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data science and backend services.
• Set up observability (metrics, logs, traces, dashboards) and define SLOs.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Support the team in safe rollouts, rollbacks, and on-call readiness.
• Drive scalability and cost-efficiency improvements across the stack.

What we are looking for

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, containers, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Proficiency with cloud environments (Azure preferred).
• Scripting in Python or bash.
• Curiosity about system performance, latency, and reliability.
• Structured communicator with a problem-solving mindset.

Bonus points

• Familiarity with monitoring stacks.
• Understanding of streaming/data pipelines (Kafka, Redpanda).
• Interest in distributed systems or real-time workloads.
• Experience in energy, trading, or other mission-critical domains.
