NTT Data is actively looking for a Senior Support Engineer for one of our clients in Brussels. They are working in hybrid mode (2 days onsite, 3 days working from home). It is a freelance position.
The partner requires a senior 'support engineer' to allow to meet two objectives
The resolution of front-line tickets;
The training of the person in charge of the first line to bring her up in competence and reduce the volume of tickets transmitted to the second line
Daily tasks
Take care of the installation and configuration of computers as well as software
Support end users in their daily requests
Analyze user requests to detect underlying trends and potential problems
Respond in a timely manner to issues and service requests
Plan and perform scheduled maintenance updates
Keep the IT inventory up to date
Create accounts and assign access to new users
Repair and replace equipment if necessary
Testing new technologies
Assist the Business Application Owner in coordinating and testing projects
Manage IT assets
Intervene in the maintenance of the IT infrastructure
Participate in the implementation of various projects
Assist the IT Manager in various administrative tasks
