You will be responsible for overseeing commissioning and early start-up activities for a designated section of the project. You will collaborate closely with our engineering contractor and commissioning teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of all commissioning phases.
Lead safe commissioning activities from pre-commissioning to normal plant operation.
Assist in the development of commissioning manuals and procedures.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety protocols during all commissioning phases.
Oversee execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning tasks according to procedures and schedules.
Conduct punch-out inspections based on piping specifications, equipment drawings, and P&IDs.
Participate in HSE assessments and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs).
Support troubleshooting and technical investigations in collaboration with contractors, operations, discipline experts, and vendors.
Be available for on-call service during critical project phases
Your technical expertise will be vital in giving advice in specific commissioning-linked practices, including driving the mechanical completion process, punchpoint generation & closure, priority setting etc.
You will also play a key role in coaching and supporting our integrated production and maintenance teams, as well as our EPCm pre-commissioning contractors.
Requirements
You are a qualified engineer in chemical engineering or have equivalent experience, with a strong foundation in the process industry and a proven track record in commissioning large-scale industrial projects.
Your hands-on expertise, ideally gained in environments such as PDH units, crackers, or utilities like steam boilers and turbines, equips you to take on complex technical challenges with confidence.
