Client Growth Assistant

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Client Growth Assistant located in Brussels. This role is designed for someone early in their commercial career who wants to grow into a full commercial role over time. You will start by supporting ECCRT across marketing, client engagement, and sales operations. As you develop, you will take on more responsibility in managing client relationships and eventually leading your own sales cycle. This position combines hands-on marketing execution, lead nurturing, CRM management, and client follow-up with a clear progression path toward a more independent commercial role.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


Client Engagement & Lead Nurturing (~45%)

  • Respond to client inquiries and provide timely, professional support.
  • Assist with preparing proposals, presentations, and follow-up materials.
  • Join client meetings to take notes, gather requirements, and support next steps.
  • Help organize feedback loops after training delivery and identify new opportunities.
  • Build familiarity with ECCRT’s services to support consultative discussions.

Marketing & Commercial Support (~40%)

  • Support the planning of targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare promotional materials, newsletters, and client communications.
  • Coordinate event logistics for webinars, conferences, and client sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM entries for leads and clients.
  • Monitor marketing performance and prepare basic reports.
  • Assist with website updates, social media coordination, and content preparation.

Commercial Development & Growth (~15%)

  • Shadow senior colleagues (COO and Managing Director) in sales activities.
  • Learn to conduct discovery calls and qualify leads.
  • Develop skills in opportunity management, proposal creation, and closing.


Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, communication, business, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in marketing, sales support, or client-facing roles.
  • Experience with CRM tools or digital marketing platforms is an advantage.
  • Interest in the life sciences or clinical research field is strongly preferred.


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communicator with excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn commercial strategy and client management.
  • Comfortable with multitasking and managing deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles (email, SEO, analytics, etc.).
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and client service mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
